Garment Remodelling That Respects the Original Piece
Every project begins with a review of the garment itself. We look at construction, fabric condition, seam allowances, and the fit changes you want before confirming the scope of work.
For redesign requests, we discuss what can realistically be achieved from the existing material. Some concepts may be limited by wear, grain direction, or the amount of usable fabric available.
Thoughtful redesign starts with a careful assessment of fabric, seams, and structure.
Thread House creates practical alterations and upcycling projects for garments that still have more to give.
When supplementary materials are needed, they are quoted separately after review. If matching thread, trims, buttons, or lining are available, we use them where appropriate, but exact matches are not promised until confirmed.
Our workshop handles remodelling, fit updates, and fabric-reuse projects with a clear approval process. Written scope, concept approval, and review before additional work help keep each project transparent from start to finish.
